How do I book a session?

What time of day do you book sessions?
Sessions are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, January thru October. Outdoor sessions will start about 90 minutes before the sun sets. This time of day is called Golden Hour and it is my favorite time to shoot. I do not typically book sessions on the weekends. If these days and times won't work for you, I would love to chat to see if we can work something out.
Do we get to choose the location?
Sessions done in your home or on your land are my favorite. I love when a location has some special meaning to you. However, if you don't have a location in mind, I am happy to share some options with you that you can choose from. If applicable, travel fees and rental fees may apply.
What should I wear?

What if my kids are ....well kids?
I sure hope they are! I love spending time with kids and allowing them to have fun during our sessions. I want their true personalities to shine, so we do lots of playing and moving around. Please let go of any expectations of perfectly behaved children.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
If the weather or sickness is causing us to reschedule there is nothing to worry about and we will find the next best date that works for both of us. If you cancel or need to reschedule for any other reason the deposit is non-refundable and rescheduling fees will apply.

Do you require a deposit? And how do I pay you?
Yes, I do. I require a $75 non-refundable deposit to hold a spot for you on the calendar. Once we connect on a date, I will email you an invoice and you can pay online. The final balance will be due on the date of the session.
Do you offer Mini Sessions?
I do offer Mini Sessions but they are called Pop Up Mini Sessions and happen without much notice and only a few times a year. Spots are very limited. They are 15 minute sessions. Follow along on Facebook to get all the latest updates.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, you do not need to bring anything, but if you would like to bring something sentimental, like your kids favorite toys or a quilt that grandma made, feel free to bring it. I love to include things mean something to you.
Do you photograph Weddings?
I am sorry but I do not photograph Weddings at this time, but I know some really wonderful photographers that do!
