Mini Session Tips – Let’s Make This Easy & Fun
LET THE KIDS BE KIDS
I don’t expect them to sit still — in fact, I don’t want them to. Movement, giggles, curiosity, and personality are always welcome here.
DRESS COMFORTABLY
Wear outfits you feel good in — and shoes you can comfortably walk (or run!) in through a field. Heels and muddy farm hills don’t always mix well
BE IN THE MOMENT
The best photos happen when you’re connecting — tickling, hugging, whispering, laughing. I’ll gently guide you with fun prompts so you’re never left wondering what to do.
I want your 15 minutes to feel relaxed, natural, and joyful
— not rushed or stressful.
Here are a few more tips to help your session run smoothly:

Arrive early!-These sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so arriving early keeps everything flowing smoothly and helps your session start relaxed and on time.

Empty those pockets. - I’ll have a designated spot for keys, wallets, phones, and anything bulky so pockets can stay empty and outfits look their best.

Farm fun! - When you arrive, my husband will give you a quick ride up the hill to our photo spot in a side-by-side. It’s part of the adventure and usually a big hit with the kids!

Quick reminders. - If it’s been rainy, the ground may be soft — plan shoes accordingly.
