I could not wait to work with Whitney. From our first email back and forth, I knew we would be a good fit. She talked about how much she loves her family and being a mom and wife to her high school sweetheart is just the favorite role she has ever been in.
Whitney is pure sunshine... even on a rainy evening. We started the session with no rain in sight and within 5 minutes it started thundering. We played for a little bit while the kids warmed up to photos and then it really started to rain. So we headed to the back of my car where the seats were all down and let the kids chill for a minute. I offered to Whitney the option to just head home and try again another night OR jump out in the rain and have fun in it. Because she is amazing and fun, she chose the play in the rain option. I'm so glad they did.
Even though we were thrown some curve balls, we made the most of it. Dalton and Whitney kept loving each other and the kids through the rain drops (and a few tears) and we got some magic. I love these images of this sweet easygoing, fun family so much and I can't wait to work with them again.
